Squeaking seat - need help

New 2012 Wrangler two door. Seat has a creak / squeak when moving laterally in the seat. Only really notice when turning a corner. Anyone else experienced this?

Have you checked all the mounting hardware? You may have tighten a bolt.

My 2012 Sahara has a very irritating squeak in the drivers seat that is getting worse. I need to take it back to get it looked at. It is really bad.

Took mine to dealer twice. Squeak was so bad it was humorous, in drivers seat only. The second trip they identified 'trim that was rubbing seat frame'. Adjusted trim and squeak was gone. I find it disappointing that a seat is so complicated it took two trips to diagnose it, but I'm grateful they were able to fix it. They are Milton Reuben of Augusta ga. Good luck.

Oh yeah, the first trip they checked for loose bolts only; they weren't loose. The second trip I got the thorough inspection and found loose trim rubbing seat frame.

Update...squeak came back slowly..over two months. Back to dealer. Wish they'd show me what to adjust since this seems like perpetual issue.
