Haha that is an awesome green jeep. Hey good news man. My jeep is getting the 4.88's in and also I found about 10 ford 8.8 rear ends at a scrap yard but they all only had 3.73 gears none with 4.10's the guy only wants like 130-150 for each.

Somehow I missed your post. Thats a deal. Sure you know but make sure everything spins freely and what not.

Remember I told you about rebuilding my 350 and costing over 2k. Well I can get Chevy 6.0L out out a GMC truck or what not for 1600 give or take with everything including the trans with the computer. I can sell my current motor and trans and off set the cost pretty good. I could do a cam swap and be close to 400hp. Think that is what I am going to do.

Did that buy who had the black JK do what I said about fixing this steering wheel?

What gears did you get...brand name? Just wondering.

Actually the dealership fixed it for free, because it was under warranty. I got G2 gears to put in..1600 is a good deal. 400hp that thing is gonna be a beast haha..kinda jealous

Mortalis5509 im the guy with the black JK. I did do what you suggested with the adjustment of the steering wheel. I loosened the 2 bolts on the linkage and slowly turnd it. I would turn a little and then get in it and drive it a bit. Then I would turn it a little more. It took me about 15 minutes to get it right. Well worth the time. The thing Mark is referring to about me taking it to the dealership is for something different. The clock spring came loose from the steering column. This controls the deplyment of the airbag. I took it into the dealership and the fixed it under warranty. They also uploaded a new Flash to my computer. It keeps the warning lights from coming on due to the different geometry of the vehicle. Thanks for the advice. Look forward to riding with you again.
