Tray on Sunday?

Taking a couple of friends from work with their Jeeps up Tray on Sunday if anyone wants to join us. Meeting at the church on Bethel Rd in the church parking lot at 10am. Here are the google map coordinates 34.744945, -83.675759 . Its an easy ride, but a great way to spend the day with friends. Maybe even a little mud with all the rain on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is supposed to be really nice.

Yes stock will be just fine on Tray…its actually a bit better stock since its more of an adventure that way!
This is about as rough as Trey gets…

Fine for a stocker. Last time I was up, there was a bone stock, stripped down jeep with small street tires on it and a stock Grand Cherokee both do it. Made it just fine. Hope to see you on Sunday.

We were there. 4 of us ended up on the mountain. Hit the trail from the 356 side at 10:30 and were done around 12. Shame we missed you. Would have love to have seen your jeep in person.

Has to be said. It's not OK for a stock S-10 2WD.

(Those that were there know)

Take Trey Mtn road till you get to the top where the AT trail crosses. Take a right and continue until you hit another fork, turn left and enjoy.

I went up tray tonight and didn't see it either, but I started from the 356 side. hmm Maybe I'll have to go the other way next time. I'm not even sure If I ended up going back down via tray mtn road though. I took a right at the top area and went down that way ended up passing a bunch of houses off the dirt/gravel road. It was my first time going off road though, I had a load of fun. Can't wait for a weekend with nice weather so I can go back up.

You probably ended up going down Corbin Creek Rd. if you made a right at the top of the mountain where the large open area is with the mud hole. Starting at the 356 side is the fun way.

Does Corbin Creek Rd. Have that really long, very rocky section a short ways after you turn onto it?

Don't think so. Never been down Corbin, but from what I understand it is pretty much a scenic gravel road. I'm sure others can chime in who have been down it.
