Where to get mods in Georgia

I didn't see much discussion regarding where to mods in Georgia.. I order a 2013 Jku Sahara and plan on getting maybe a 2-3 inch lift, 35/12.5/20 tires/wheels. I've visited Fortec in Roswell twice and got an estimate however I don't have a basis to compare prices and quality of service.

I solicit any comments or suggestions you may have. Also would like to here personal experiences as well. Any feedback on the attached estimate would be appreciated as well

There are a couple of 4Wheel Parts locations - one in Marietta and one in Norcross. For comparison, you can go to their website and build a similar package to what Fortec priced for you: Truck Parts & Jeep Parts - Lift Kits, Winches, Tonneau Covers, Tires, Wheels, Bumpers, Performance. If you call them, they can give you labor quotes over the phone for mounting, balancing, lift installation, etc. FWIW I was quoted 3 hours @ $95 an hour to install a 2" budget boost a few weeks back. I had my last set of tires, wheels and shocks installed at the Marietta store and was happy with the service.

Also try Southern Off Road Specialists on Macfarland. It's a great shop with integrity and good prices on labor and parts. They're also a bigger shop able to handle more.

Try Spicer Automotive and 4-wheel drive in Rock Spring, Ga if I'm not mistaken of the location. They do stuff right, just a little on the expensive side. If I have anything else done to mine, that's where I'm taking it.

SBC in Gainesville Georgia is probably the best fabricator in our area. He does it all from mild builds to over the top custom work. Scott the owner is the guy you deal with and the guy who does the installation. Not the highest volume shop in Atlanta, but probably the highest quality and customer satisfaction. Even Albert Boswell from 4 Wheel Parts had his custom TJ built by Scott.

I didn't originally reply to this thread because I haven't actually used any of these shops. Being new to the area though I have visited several and discussed potential work I need help with.

After making the drive to Gainseville and talking with Scot, SBC is the shop I will use. As stated he does everything from small jobs to extreme and is well regarded on other forums as well.

No website, but has a Facebook page where you can see some JKU's he has done like you describe.

It really depends on what you are looking to do. If you are looking to do a major build, SBC is a good choice, minor build stuff, 4WP in Marietta is my place of choice.

Just wanna follow up to the JeepHut a few posts above-- they do installs and parts. My wife had them lift and install new wheels/tires for her 2013 Wrangler at the beginning of the month. I can't recommend them highly enough-- great folks and excellent pricing.

I used Jeep Hut for my lift. They were great work with. They are a Jeep Fest sponser. I thought they were very reasonable. I too did not have a good experience with SORS. They put a hole in my cv boot and wouldn't fix. Their solution was the truck was under warranty and to have the dealership fix it. Then I gave them one more chance. They said they would match 4WD lift and installation but they didn't do everything 4wd included and gave me grief for even asking. They might have changed but they will never get my business again.
Also had good luck with Fortec in Roswell, Ga. They did work for Nalley and I bought one of the Jeeps. The bumper was fading out and they replaced it free, no questions asked.

We've done several from that very perspective. Not recommended for one day! Weekend projects.
