Winch Woes

I have a engo 9000 and its cable everytime I put in freespool and start pulling line it wind itself out and birdnest like crazy help

Do you respool it after using it? Also, synthetic or steel?

Sounds like its formed to the reel. Have you put pressure on it? Just start winching and maybe it will stretched out enough to keep it from unspooling.
