Sorry for the late notice. Life's been hectic this past month...
For those of you who are interested in riding, camping, meeting some great people, and maybe even get lucky winning some prizes, the WRJC is headed to Morris Mountain the weekend of June 7-9 for our second anniversary ride.
Of the few ORV parks I've been, this is still my favorite in terms of obstacles and scenery. Every path has a bypass and even if you don't tackle it in your Jeep, you can learn a lot by watching.
Anyway, I wanted to extend the official invite out there for those of you who feel like you are ready to graduate from FSR's and drive into ORV's. I know I haven't been out on the trails too much this past month due to chores, but I am hoping to see many of you there.
edit: also wanted to add that the last time I was here, I was "bone stock" and I had no idea how to use lockers, disconnects, etc. So whatever shape your Jeep is in, you will probably have a good time here as long as it drives.
2013 Commando Green JKUR / Jeep Clothing for off-roading...
This is going to be awesome. Last year we had 32 jeeps make it and everyone had a blast. If you think you might make it head over to the ride thread and lets know. Lots of info there and get to know some of the people you'll be wheeling with. I do a lot of the trail guiding but on trios this size we have a few more. My screen name over there is Oscar. Check it out. still plenty of tickets available to win one of two winches and other stuffs donated by our sponsors. http://wrjeepclub.com/simplemachines...p?topic=2665.0
*** UPCOMING EVENT *** WRJC 2nd Anniversary Ride - 7-9 June 13
1. This is an awesome park. There are multiple routes through most obstacles so you can pick your poison level. I agree with Wei, still my favorite park in the area.
2. This is an awesome diverse group of Jeepers. Great folks to hang out with and learn from. Oscar and others do a fantastic job of trail guiding and spotting through the difficult areas (just don't tell him I said that). After the riding the campfires are quite entertaining.
Note: See me, there are a couple people you might not want to blindly follow . They know who they are.
3. I'm going to be there Thursday - Sunday. Hope to see some of you there. This is not all that far and can be a day trip if you like.
