Exclamation Any Good Jeep Mechanics in Clearwater/ Tampa. Please Help/ TJ Going Down

So,

I have a 1999 TJ with a 4 banger. I went out mudding with some friends, got stuck in the mud and had some mud and water slip into the trans. Needless to day after the 2nd fluid flush within 3K miles, I keep finding chunks of metal about 1/2inch big. And not to mention that when I shift into 3rd and 4th gear it grinds, as well as when I down shift. I am also hearing some mild knocking on the engine.

I made an attempt to contact Jeff's Jeep Yard, but was told that they could not get anyone in for the next month to month and a half for service.

Please if anyone is able to help let me know. Thank you.

first recommendation would be land o' lakes 4x4 (lol4x4.com) second would be 4wheel parts off florida avenue... i think they're back open. also, tampaoffroad off hillsborough ave.

other options are hoyt automotive (hoyt4x4)... or xtreme jeep.
