Central Florida

So Upon further research, it seems there are trails and places to go in south Florida (Ft. Lauderdale, Miami) and North Florida (Pensacola, Tallahassee). But is there anything that anyone knows about in the central Florida area?

This is from the Ocala Nat Forest website.

With nearly 200 miles of ATV / motorcycle trails and another 81 miles of off-road trails for Jeeps and other 4WD vehicles, the Ocala National Forest is Florida's top destination for off-roading.

Ocala even has a Jeep club. Can you guess what their name is?

I bought my first CJ in the 80's and grew up around the sand lake hills area. We had acres upon acres of land to use. Went back a few months ago and its so built up!! Progress.....

there are a ton of trails between 30 minutes and 2 hours north of Tampa. all over the place. talk with some guys in any one of the local clubs. they'll get you squared away.

I just got on the Tampa Bay jeep club. I've seen some trails in Ocala and I used to race my dirt bike in the lime stone pit in Brooksville. Can't wait to get wheeling now that I'm lifted. Thanks for the tip!!
