clutch issues on '89 wrangler

I have an 89 wrangler with a few clutch issues. when i start the car i have to pump the clutch to get any pressure. once there is pressure, it is fine to shift. however, after about 15 mins there is no longer any pressure and the process has to be repeated in order to shift. what is going on here?

This may be a stupid question, but how's your clutch fluid reservoir? Is it full? Leaking?

not stupid

The clutch reservoir is full of fluid, I check regularly thinking that could be the issue. It appears to not be leaking.

I guess maybe air could be getting into the line somehow.... but okay, here's your best bet:

Create a new thread in this section of the forum: YJ Jeep Wrangler Forum - Jeep Wrangler Forum

It will get a lot more visibility, and you'll get responses much faster, from people much more knowledgeable than myself.
