Death Wobble Solved 2006 LJ

I haven't posted in quite a while, but wanted to let everyone know how we solved our major Death Wobble (DW) issue. For starters, we found that the RF tie rod was bad. That was replaced and it got better, but due to letting it go so long, it caused other suspension issues. We replaced the fron track bar with another stock track bar and it didn't seem to do anything. I took off the 2" Budget boost and the problem went away. I put it back on and guess what, it returned. We figured it was a caster problem, so I put on adjustable caster bolts and tried to get it as close to factory as possible, but it still had the wobble. We finally decided to put on a Currie adjustable track bar. This seemed to almost entirely fix the problem, but the wobble would come back every so often. The final fix was to add adjustable control arms. We set the adjustable caster bolts to a normal "stock" position and adjusted the control arms out to 16" for the 2" Budget boost. This was a little more than the recommended distance, but VOILA!! Death Wobble Completely Gone!! I can do 85-90 MPH over crazy bumps and it rides like a dream!! I hope this helps to anyone encountering the same problem.

Happy Jeeping!!
