Rode all weekend around range road. Paid $4 for a year long permit and I will say it's the best $4 I have spent all my life. Plenty of mud, sand and climbing. It's a great time.

Range Road? On Eglin I presume, must be nice gents but unfortunately for me that'd be half a tank round trip plus the other half just to go off road. I can't wait to get out there and when I get time I will but I need some Pensacola based locations if anyone can help me.

It's to easy. Go to Jackson Guard station anytime before 5 pm mon- fri or before 12 on Saturday. It's located on 85 north on the right as soon as you turn off of eglin blvd. they give you a map off the entire base, which is huge, and you watch a 7 min video and it's good to go. The permit costs $4 for military and 12 for civilians and it's good for a year. if you need so good trails PM me.

Bring cash or check. They don't take debit or credit card.

And check out JackedUpJeepClub.com we have a panhandle chapter.

Rooster check out forum

The forum is dead most of the time but we organise rides on the eglin Res almost every weekend. We also have a trip planned for boggs and boulders on the 15th. Hope to see you on the trails or the forum at least.
