Florida mirror law

Just wondering if anyone has details on the side mirror laws in Florida. I dont want to get a ticket when I take my doors off, and also don't want to wait until I scruff up the money to do a mirror relocation.

I have ran the doors off many of times without the mirrors on but your better off getting them anyways just to be safe. Its better to spend $70 than hundreds of dollars on a ticket.

Print the law out that was posted in the attachment. I don't have a rearview mirror but due to the 2 side ones I am good. You can also have just a rearview mirror. Have the printout in glove box if you get a newbie cop.

That's a good idea. A lot of people see no side mirrors and just assume it's wrong. Wouldn't be surprised if some cops think the same.

I was going on to base the other day with no doors or mirrors and the security force guy asked me if it was legal. I said yes, and he was just like oh... ok have a good one.
haha

most cops wont even bother you unless you get thier attention for something else first. If you want to be safe just drop a cheap motorcycle mirror into the door hing until you get what you want.
