Jacksonville area duratracs??

Hi guys

Anybody in JAX that is running 33s that would mind giving me a 15 min ride in the next week? I am torn between duratracs and BFG at....I would really like to look at the dt and hear them on the highway. Thanks!

If you get close to Daytona Beach I would.
I have buddies with pick up trucks running BFG A/Ts and as long as there not chopped up they're pretty quiet on a truck. My DTs are probably a bit more noisy but not too bad and a little less highway friendly than my old Terra Grapplers. But offroad, Duratracs are the bomb.

So far after 7,000 miles they're wearing just fine. Had to get them rebalanced last week. I am certainly going to get another set when these wear out and I move up to 35s. These tires are sick off road. I smoked a guys with BFG mud terrains easily with my Duratracs.
The DTs are going to be slightly louder than most A/Ts due to the large tread blocks on the outer portion of the tires. But it is certainly not loud enought to be an audible problem. You may also consider a load "C" rating. The side wall won't be as stiff and will probably be quieter. I have the "E" rated 3 ply sidewall so it's a little stiffer and heavier tire.
I have some good picks of my jeep with the Duratracs on my jeep profile or just hit the "garage" under my avatar on this post.
