not legally. Check out Osceola and Ocala. Those are legal wheeling and camping spots

Thanks for the response. Not the answer I was looking for. LoL. Was hoping to find local places I could quickly hit.

Not local per se, but flagler estates has few places to run through.

I've been to a couple events that they hosted or came to, there's some nice jeeps in their club. I doubt I'll make it ... I have an exam tomorrow ...

The group I'm apart of (RocksnRutz) will be there. It's cool to look at all the jeeps, but your wallet hates it because your wish list grows. Also, they have great raffle prizes.

Thanks for the info - I will try the Lem Turner side

I finally took my 1st pic of mine since bought with 800 miles Jan 2014, yes 35" Nitto Trails and wheels of some sort coming one day.

I did the warn 8000-s winch -w- Prolink, LOD bumper, JKU 18/60 springs + TF 2.5" BB, shorty antenna, added 430n nav and lockpick and cool Gecko stickers since ownership.

Hey guys. I am in Orange Park, Agryle area. Just ordered my 2015 Wrangler Unlimited, looking to see who all is around that I can meet.

Also, if you see a 2014 Toyota Tacoma (dark grey pre-runner) with this sticker, then its me...

Are you friends with Ronnie and Kyle? Did Ronnie aka big worm install your lift for you? Looks like a jeep he posted a few months back on Facebook that he was doing a lift on

Gecko or NFGZ... is happy trails a good place to get my TeraFlex Level Kit done? New to jeeps, but it is all I could find, and I know no other jeep owners around here.

+1 for Happy Trails. They did my gears/lockers and some other items on my jeep over the past few years. Molly and Melvin will take care of you.

Hey fellow Jax Jeepers, I am putting my CG JKUR up for sale.

HERE's the link to the for sale thread.

You can also check out my build thread if you want to see details of the build.

Please socialize this across your circles and shoot me a PM if interested.

Good luck, Kramer. I'll pass it along at some of the jeep club events I attend. Maybe in a few years you can pick up one of the new diesel JKUs.

Maybe not a legal place to wheel but on SR218 between Lake Asbury and Middleburg is the power lines. Plenty of access to get on and plenty of mud and water.

I'm a member of a new Jeep only club called Black Creek Jeep. I too own a Tacoma. A 2008 PreRunner that is my daily driver.

4 Wheel Parts lowered my Jeep and replaced my top. Will, the assistant manager, is a helluva guy. Look him up.

Dixie Land Offroad is really the only shop in town that stands behind their work. Waaaay to many issues with happy trails and over built customs. Parts. For the jeep... East coast Offroad Warehouse. He has special pricing for local guys. Just over wholesale.

Care to elaborate on this claim? You have quite a few new jeep owners trying to figure out where to go, and it would prove beneficial to "protect" people from said issues...

Mooncalf,
You are brave going mudding with tube doors. I did it once, and vowed to never wheel in N. Florida again without full doors. Now, I only take the doors off to go wheeling if I'm heading north to higher elevations. Kind of a shame to actually put my doors on to go wheeling around here.

Ha yeah, it was a mess inside and out. It did some damage too. Blew both fog light bulbs, fog light LEDs are ruined and I'm still finding mud inside!

Misinstalled clutches, broken welds, engine they built and installed seized within 200 miles. Those are the issues that they refused to make right. I know of three guys in SSOR that they left high and dry. Shop refuses to stand by their work. All issues in the past year or so.

Yeah, I've about given up mudding. A couple of hours of playing in the mud and it's all day to clean up afterwards. Plus, it's like liquid sandpaper if it's not removed immediately.

That's why I keep driving north to play in the hills and rocks of Georgia/Alabama/S. Carolina. Coming up is Sheriff's Jeepfest in Georgia, followed by Choccolocco Mountain in Alabama, and then Jeeptoberfest in Ocala. It's going to be a great couple of months of wheeling and none of it involves mud.
