July 5th lazy springs/okee slough for sure this time...

K so we got a group of at least 4 right now heading out west next sat July 5th. Come hell or high water (or more thunderstorms) I'm going on this trip. The weather has been crappy lately but it's been too long since I've been out. Anyone interested in hitting some trails, fishing, or lazy springs on saturday let me know.

Why let rain stop ya,
We ride rain or shine @ Lazy Springs.
Makes it more exciting and muddier
We were out there yesterday, hot as hell too, we were wishing for rain.

Plus, this is South Florida, you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it'll change. It's rainy season now, so it's going to be hit or miss no matter what the weather people say.

Post up some pics if you go !!

My vote is for Lazy Springs. You left last time a little before we did...4pm seems like a good head back...

So the main group that's going is leaving around 10ish and they're headed straight for okee slough state forest. I kinda wanna test out these new shoes and tear it up at lazy springs first tho. So I guess we can meet same place as last time. Try to head out around 8. That way we can do lazy springs in the morning and then anyone who wants to do a few trails can break away a little later in the afternoon. I'm loading up the Jeep with food and drinks cause I don't plan on coming home til night.

Just a bunch of wildlife if you're into that kinda trail ride. We saw gators and deer last time. But the trails are supposed to be more fun this time since it's rainy season. I figure I'll hit lazy springs all morning and then trail off and meet them up later maybe around 2. I don't think they'll be there until noonish anyway. Also that guy Ben, the local knows a few trails and spots to go fishing and what not. I'll have to see how all that plays out but I'm for sure for sure hitting lazy springs before anything.
