Painting my Jeep

I'm looking to get my hood repainted because the oxidation is pretty terrible now. I've gone to local body shops and they all want around $2500 and all recommend painting the entire Jeep. It's not a show Jeep by any means but I would like it to appear somewhat presentable. If anyone has info or some recommendations on paint shops or painters please let me know.
P.S. I'm in the coconut creek area. Thanks

2500 to paint the entire jeep isn't that bad. Just to paint the hood your probably looking at around 300. If u only want to paint the hood then just have that done. The body shops are telling you to paint the whole jeep because they want your $$$.

Scratch Wizards. They have a shop close to mine in Boca. Really good guys, Told me if I fix the rust on my front fender he would paint it. I actually asked him about painting my entire Jeep. If I brought it to him in pieces he would do it. The are mostly mobile 561-391-8910

Scuff the clear and color coat and hit up sherman williams to get the color match paint in rattle cans and do it your self.

I am re-doing a cj tailgate to put on my TJ now and thats pretty much all I am doing. Need to fix a small dent in it but it is primered now and I will get cans of paint and hit it my self. Doing it all in a really small shed too.

how about trying a local shop like macco or econo auto body? They quoted me 400 bucks to do a repaint of just the outside. But that's only if I keep the color the same. It goes up to 600 if I change color. They got a special going on now for 295
