I'm currently deployed, but will be back beginning to mid may, would love to find some fellow jeepers to tag along with on some outings. I'm stationed at hurlburt, and regularly go out on the range, but I'm looking for something new. So if someone could keep me in the loop for when I'd get back, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Just came across this thread. Me and the wifey are both new to our Jeeps. She got hers last May and I got mine a week ago. We are usually strapped for time with 2 kids but want to hit some trails soon. We are both rookies as i havent been in the mud in 20 years probably. Would love to catch up with you guys soon.

About to throw a lift and some new tires on very soon. Any recommendations on a good shop or anyone you know locally with know how and tools?

I like to think I know my way around with some tools. However, I got my tires from Discount Tires, which is a little bit of drive from where you are in Alabama but they did an awesome job on my Jeep and my wife's truck.

No shops that I know of. I didn't have the garage or tools to do mine so I talked to some people in the emerald coast jeepers club. They set me up with one of their guys that works out of his own garage. Got a 4" rough country installed in 4hrs, good price too. Ill message you his info if your interested.

DT only did the tires and wheels. I am not sure about anyone who does lift installs, most of the people I know have a few friends help them in there garage.

Guess I can't edit messages...

Gulf Coast Jeep Club • Index page is up. It's just a forum right now (tapatalk enabled).
Most people that messaged me or expressed interest live over on the Eastern Shore but everyone is welcome to visit even if you're part of another club. Please head over to the site and register and introduce yourself and we'll get a ride setup!

Just reading through this thread to find some new trails and thought some of you may be interested in joining SORE (Southeast Off-Road Enthusiasts). It isn't an actual "club" but several clubs in the area have members in it. It is setup for anyone who off-roads to come discuss off-roading and trails in FL, AL, MS, GA and TN as well as sell and swap parts. Just started a few days ago and the goal is to help multiple clubs come together for larger rides and also direct people to clubs in their area. If you want to add your club just PM me the details or join there and we will help get the word out. See you on trails soon maybe!

Both are open to the public, just stay on the trails.

The other is also on hwy 112 in Alabama just further down (N.E. of Rosinton,AL), it's on River Rd between Tower Rd and hwy 87. You can check it out on Mapquest with the satilite veiw. pm me if you want directions
There's a couple of good places in Pace to spend a day at too.

I went up to Jay a few weeks ago with KingKongFu and a few others, and had a pretty good time. once the water levels drop down a bit, I wouldn't mind hitting that trail that goes under the bridge again. where are the trails in Pace?

I could repeat that entire day - it was a blast (even better it was free). I'd certainly be interested in going back and also checking out Pace.

The best place to go for Pace is deffinately the Wallace Road trails, if you don't have a smart phone or GPS to tell where you're going then it's pretty easy to get lost. We actually ended up taking our rigs through a 4-wheeler trail on accident. If you want to sink, there's what they call the "gator swamp" which is down Berryhill. There are a couple of other places, but the people aren't too forgiving when you go on their property.

This was the aftermath of an all around Pace day.

If y'all go out again let us know! I live in milton and have been wanting to find some trails that are closer to home.
