You can also get the permit by mail. Pay by money order, cashiers check, or personal check (no cash) made payable to DFAS-LI Eglin AFB.
The address is:
Eglin Natural Resources Branch
107 Highway 85 North,
Niceville, FL 32578
How much does the permit cost and how long is it good for?

Every so often when I go to start it, it just clicks. The engine actually turns about an 1/8 of a turn and then just stops. To start it, I just have to take the key out and try it a couple more times. Right now it's doing it about once a day but no one can figure out how to fix it. I've replaced the battery, wireless control module with new keys, starter x3, ignition switch, starter relay, and all grounds are good and wires have been checked for corrosion. Since it doesn't happen all the time it makes it hard to diagnose and no one knows what else to do.

I don't think so. They said it tested fine and the battery is still getting a charge.

Let me know how it turns out.

Distributor? ya mean like cap and rotor? Those went out with the 99' model I think

If it's not the obvious, it's gotta' be a sensor some where, or maybe a bare/broken wire touching on something occassionally.

I'm planning on going to the River Road trails again this weekend. if anyone wants to tag along, will be taking some more pics of jeeps on the trails and trying some new trails. let me know if anyone wants to go, and what day is prefered.

They replaced that sensor. Hopefully it worked. I won't know for sure until it works properly for at least a week.

Either day works but I'd rather go on Sunday.

Is that area all mud or are there some less sloppy trails?

There are less sloppy trails. The last time we went, near the end of the trail riding, we actually got into a 'mud field' that resulted in everyone's jeeps getting covered in mud . b4 that point, we just had alittle 'mud on the tires'. And aot of that got washed off while crossing a clear water creek. if you don't do the 'mud field' at the end, I think you'd be ok.
