South Florida: Big Cypress Trail

Hey guys,

I'm taking my Jeep out to Big Cypress. It's about an hour South of Naples. Looks like it's a pretty great trail and I would love another Jeep to join us.

Right now we're planning for Saturday, May 15 or Sunday.

Here's some info on the site, including a map.

http://www.nps.gov/bicy/planyourvisit/orv-use.htm

It looks like a permit is required, it costs $50 for a year. If anyone is interested please get in touch with me, they'll be a couple beers going around. It'll be my first time taking it out to a trail and I would love someone with experience or a fellow Jeeper to learn with me.

Let me know!

Big Cypress opens back up on Friday !!! Not an extensive set of trails for the ORV section. But still a fun time. The bulk of the area is ATV only.

This is a old post but. Most of the good trails are closed. Yellow and Blue closed and the the best part of red is close. Save your gas.
Some shots from Bear.
