I'll be at the steak and shake, show and shine doesn't look good for me. Got to pick and choose my battles.

Sorry for the short notice but a few of us are going out in north Manatee County, Terra Ceia area, meeting at the BP off I-275 on 41 at noon today if any of ya are interested. Not much for mud but some hills, ruts, sandy terrain.

Anyone going to the Steak 'n Shake, a few folks are gonna do a night right afterward just down the road. It's an awesome ride, lots of stuff for stockers all the way up to man made obstacles for lockers.

These are from today. Most of my buddies bailed, ended up being just mine & Muddy Jeep Girl's H3 Hummer. The last shot was tricky getting into position as you can see my LR tire is barely hanging on the edge. Still was a good time, planning to do it again next Saturday or Sunday, unsure which yet.

Lena Road behind Norm's Liquor (off I-75 & SR70) is now posted no trespassing all over the place... apparently about 100+ vehicles were there on a weekend that we weren't, guns were fired, Fish & Wildlife & cops came, been off limits since. We'll be going back to Terra Ceia next Saturday if anyone wants to join... most likely meeting at the BP on 41 near exit 2 off I-275 around noonish. The site we've been offroading is around 5 miles from there.

That looks like a great place for me to get my feet wet, and is close to home. I'm gonna try to be there next weekend for sure.

rancho is a spot to go wheeling out near zephyrhills . you'd have to hook up with someone...

most folks wont openly post wheeling spots (not like rancho is a big secret or anything, it's sort of the wild west)... but most don't openly post their wheeling spots cause there are so few of them around...

Got it. And totally understand not posting preferred wheeling spots as well as the lack of them in this area.
