a. TBAJA

c. Legion of Jeepers (went to one of there meet and greets last week... good group of folks!)
d. the Good Guys from Hardcore Jeepers (not sure what they're going to call themselves) - also very good group of folks... and I find myself hanging out with more of them...

i know there are others.. but those are the ones i know folks seem to be pretty happy with.

I was unaware there were that many clubs around here. Nor did I know 4 Wheel Parts was coming to town.

4wheel parts has been in town for a while, it's just that they had a bad fire several months ago and are finally getting the repairs done so they can re-open.

Now that you mention it I heard about that. The guy that I bought my TJ from was one of the firefighters on the scene. I just thought it was a random 4wd shop.

That sounds like fun. Now, I feel stupid but what is an RTI ramp? Is that one of those ramps you go up with one wheel to (I'm guessing) see how far you get and /or how much you can flex?

That's how it usually works in my house as well. I might drag the better half out with me though.

Palmetto tomorrow (Sunday), meeting at noon, BP/DQ/Subway off 275 exit 2 on 41... same place I went last weekend. If interested, message me for my number or meet up there. Spot is five minutes from there.

Wish I could make it to the meet tomorrow, but I have to work. Also have a knocking noise in my t-case only in 4 wheel drive and when my wheels are turned. Are the t-case for a manual trans different from the auto?

I haven't disconnected mine. It's mild to moderate, whichever you choose to go through. A few washed out ravines to straddle here & there, but mostly mild climbs. Some of it depends on what you'd call challenging... those not as experienced appreciate being spotted, also find that their stock rigs can go through situations they didn't think were possible. I've got a '12 JKU Sahara and don't think it's too risky. Come on down if you can.

understood. bring her with you! my old lady, rob309 and fljeepleo's better halves will be out too. never know she might actually enjoy it. it's one of the more scenic trails i think...

you will be fine in your rig.. YJ, TJ, JK? i've been back there with a stock YJ and he did everything fine.

With the better halves coming along I might be able to convince mine to join in, making it pretty much her idea and a requirement for me to go. ha!
