I'm down for a H-pit ride anytime. It's just a few miles from my house. PM me anytime and we'll schedule something.

perhaps as early as monday afternoon? after our wrenching party...

i'll be honest - i need to get in there as much as possible before the rainy season starts. it's been a while since i've been back there and it showed. need to refresh the lines mentally... cause when it's all under water - those lines are the only thing that's going to keep us from constantly having to recover folks...

and i don't feel like ever having to walk through that muck!

come on out... we're going to be spinning wrenches in the morning... you can swing by then... not sure where yet - probably fljeepleo's location.

then hopefully we'll get an hour or so of solid wheel time over in h-pit. and as for the mud... nah - not me! if that hole was muddy (it'd been raining for weeks) i wouldn't have gone through it...

i avoid deep sticky mud... that stuff tends to cause problems!

Yeah, I'm still afraid I'm going to end up somehow paying for following you through there. Damn competitive mentality needs to stay in check!

yup... that was one of those dumb moments for all three of us.

like i said... definitely need to get back in there and check things out before too much rain comes... cause then it's a guessing game if you're not familiar with where the good lines were prior to the heaven's opening up...

We have a fair amount of wrenching to do. Rob and I are gonna also trim our pinch seams and my ruby rails after we chop his fenders.

WE HAVE PHOTOS!!!

This was my first time using photobucket, the pics are in reverse order so if you want it to start at the beginning of the trip go to the last page and scroll forward. Tons of pictures, some would make good desktop backgrounds and profile pics!

next wheeling adventure is never too far off. probably hit h-pit next... something with much less drama from the florida fish and wildlife perspective...

i'll talk with the guys and throw something up. if we get a large enough group... maybe the hard rock in ocala if everyone would be interested...

Jeff, in the Taco, posted some pics. But he accidentally posted them in the wrong thread. Check them out in thread titled "Riding up to Citrus 3/23" I think. Can we get them moved to this thread?

thankfully nothing. long story short, i'd spoken with the Withlacootchie Park Rangers (twice) about that particular trail... was verbally okay'd.

apparently that's not the case - we weren't supposed to be back there. so we left and played on the fire road across the street.
