For anyone in the Tampa Bay Area interested in hanging out with a great group of Jeeper's, on Friday April 12th there will be a great group of family oriented Jeep enthusiast getting together for their second social.
It will be at 7:00pm at the Steak n Shake located at:
5917 E Hillsborough Av
Tampa, Fl 33610
This is our second social, the first we had over 35 jeeps. Afterward there is a good chance we will do a night ride at a private location approximately 10 minutes away.
The ride is rated stocker to locker.
Hope to see you all there.
P. S. Steak 'n Shake claims they will be ready for us this time.
Funny how most places consider summer to be the wheeling season. It seems here in Tampa wheeling season is in winter. We just have to be different lol. I'll bring my machete to help clear the trails
Yea lol, we had a machete and an axe. It was def interesting! Chainsaw is def needed for that kind of riding, otherwise you spend a lot of time trying to cut down trees and lose patience! 😝
So, in all seriousness, how do you find these trails? Are they part of a specific forest or are you just seeing some trees on the side of the road and go for it?
in Ocala? they where fine. but some of those fire roads closed in quick... careful going by yourself. you never know about fallen trees with these storms we've had. always better to wheel with a buddy :whistling:
Let's see, chowed down, talked jeeps, etc.. Tabber02 centered the steering wheels on two jeeps... other than that not too much. Small turnout. Only 6 or 7 jeeps and one Ram pickup...
Shucks wish I could've been there then use my steering wheel center too... I really expected there to be a lot more people there the way everybody was talking..
D'oh! I should have read this thread before I posted mine. Anyway, I'll be back in the Tampa Bay area on the 25th. When you have your next meetup, I'll be there.
My new light bar will be here this week. Id really like to try it out, but this next month is going to be really busy. Anyone getting together at the end of the month?
Just found this thread. I'm definitely in for the next meet up! Should have my new wheels, tires and small lift done early next week so I'll be down for any wheeling afterwards.
Don't know of any good trails in this area yet so I've been tearing up a big open field after it rains by my job... hah

I got a set of 33" duratracs, some mickey thompson wheels and a 1.25" body lift. I'll be doing a suspension lift later this year after I save up some cash and do some research.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
