Where to go in ocala national forest?

Taking my wife for a trip through Ocala national forest this weekend and I'd like some opinions on good trails or spots to go.

there are a ton of Jeep trails in Ocala. check this link. http://www.fs.usda.gov/activity/ocal...32295&actid=93 some of them are tighter than others. make sure you're on a "Jeep Trail" also. signs are pretty good.

or you could go to the Hard Rock Off Road Park.. link Hardrock Cycle Park - Cycles, ATV's, and 4X4's you have to pay to play here. but its a good time.

That's usually where we go around the Pinecastle range. Nothing overly challanging, but it's pretty fun time. We usually enter on hwy 15 at the bombing range sign. Sand can get really soft after several days of no rain.

On a side note, how is that park by the way? Is it worth me driving up from Miami for a weekend?

yes it's worth the drive. there are a ton of trails in the Hardrock and trails all over the place outside it. I wouldn't recommend camping there because they have fire ants all over the place there.

but there are a ton of campgrounds around.
