Who spends the most time topless in Florida?

In the market for my first Jeep and have some questions for those actually remove their tops. Living in the land of walking dead this is the closest I can get to safely getting the wind back in my hair & beard without a murderess U turner taking my life.

I've only had mine for 2 weeks but when it hasn't been raining the top has been all the way back and the half windows off...

No, it was a little weird at first with zipper windows and no power locks, but after the first week I loved them. It's so much more open than full doors with the windows down...I'd rather just have the half doors on than dealing with popping off the full doors.

I just had to change how I do things a bit, I just don't even bother locking the doors anymore, not worth it...I just don't leave anything in there.

I am not worried about the doors, I dont plan on it seeing them often. My concerns are more with the rain and moisture of staying topless and doorless 75% of the time. Dreams are for a trail cover for days at work, garage at night. Realistic?

I'd probably put on a bikini top at least when it's sitting at work to at least keep the seats semi-dry when an afternoon thunderstorm rolls through. I'm lucky, garage at home and garage at work, so it's pretty easy for me to never have the top up.

Pull the drain plugs, no carpet, bikini top and lean the seats forward when parked. Seats may still get a little wet but not to bad. I know some of you guys with the new jeeps don't pull the carpet but it helps. You can also pull the carpet and drain plugs then do a spray in liner.

I only ride with a safari top on. Haven't had a real top on in a year. I had mine stripped and sprayed profesionally so the water doesn't affect anything. And for the seats just get the bestop seat covers their waterproof and just wipe right off when wet

I only have bikini top on all the time. Bought corbeau seats which are vinyl so no water problems. Took out all carpet and drain plugs and rear seat. Had to cut doors in half to prevent water from running in down the door inside. Removed a lot of the padding and plastic housings from mid jeep back. Sprayed interior flat black to give nice machined army look. 2013 jeep wrangler sport 2 door. Everyday driver.

I finally put the top back on this weekend when it got cold.
My heater ROCKS but, at 55 degrees and on I-95 headed up to PGA, it is just too darn cold.
The trail cover is a lifesaver.

Come on

Mine has been off the whole time. I did put the doors back on and I have a SpiderWebShade, so I'm sure they make a huge difference.

bought my 2014 in november, about the middle of december as the rain started to sort of take a break, i removed the hard top. so i've been topless since then.

Your next question is do i drive it daily topless? no..... only when i know for a fact there is no chance of rain, and you know that sketchy especially when you live here in south florida. other then that mine stays garaged only for beautiful days out.

I own an 06 TJ and I've live in Florida for about 3 yrs now and bought a safari top about 2 yrs ago. I now drive 90% of the time with no doors and just safari top. In the case of rain I throw my full doors on and fold up the back seat. I've removed the carpet and lined the entire tub with bed liner and pulled drain plugs. Been caught a couple of times with my doors off, but that's the chance I take. I didn't put my full top on until we started getting these cold snaps. Gonna leave it on for a bit longer due to the amount of rain we've been having. Jonesing to put my safari top on and take doors off, but will wait till maybe spring... Maybe!

Not horrible at all, but I also have my rear windows off 90% of the time. Canvas kind of bows out a little, but again, it's not bad.

Let's put it this way, if the half doors are on and the back windows are off, I have no problem using bluetooth on the phone.
