The SCFFC (North and South Carlina Flat Fender Club) meet will be in Charleston, SC on April 13th. This is the same day we had planned our swap meet. They were planning a small swap meet also. So being true Jeepers, we have decided to combine the two into a big Jeep swap meet. There will also be a show. It is all free. They expect 150 vehicles, and our club should be good for about 50 more. So make your plans now. Check them out at http://ncffc.freeforums.net/index.cg...hread=9&page=1

They are also raffling of this Column Shift CJ2A- http://ncffc.freeforums.net/index.cg...play&thread=22
And check us out at http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/279595498764821/ or look us up on Facebook at Charleston Area Jeep Spot, 240 members and counting.

It's official. Bought my first Jeep yesterday. It's good to see there is quite an active Jeep community. I hope to meet up with some of you soon.

My daughter says isle of palms is the beach she likes. So I figured I'll stay around there and play tourist.

Yeah that is usually were we go as well. Nice thing is there are some hotels that aren't right on the beach, only a few miles away, and a lot cheaper!

Hey guys, just wondering if you have any nice offroading spots within 2 hours. My wife and I are discussing moving down there.

Only had my first Jeep a few months and this park was my baptism of sorts. Incredible experience. I amused myself for about an hour, playing it safe. Then one of the park volunteer took me under his wing. The next 2 hours were the absolute best. It consisted of my following him on the trail and plenty of pauses for him to explain to me the capabilities of my Rubi and how to approach various obstacles. I did things I would never have dared on my own and by the time I was done, I had a slight dent on the bottom rear bumper as I learned departure angle. I now "wear" this ding as a badge of honor. By the way, my face ached by the end of the day for grinning so hard.

I plan to return soon.
