since it'll be a relatively small turnout - going somewhere to grab lunch will probably make more sense. there's a place a 1/4 mile up the road that's decent and affordable.
actually two places right next to each other, "The Village" for burgers, salads, hot plates, etc.. and a Chinese place that's good too. There should be plenty of parking at either place - they share parking.
I've been looking for a meet up in this area for a long time! Great to see the interest here!
Unfortunately, I work this weekend.
Where's the info on the potential uwharrie get together?
i'm sure there'll be some discussion about a wheeling trip. I'll start a thread on a uwharrie trip - i'm ready to go. I haven't been there since last November. I hope to get back to Gulches sometime this fall too.
Does Uwharrie have trails that a Jeep with only a 2" lift & 31.5s can handle?
Oh yes, been there several times. I have 31's and 1" lift (upgrades coming as cash flow increases) and had a great time. Most of the trails you can handle in a stock vehicle.
I'm up for a trip sometime too!
As far as this weekend goes... I have to work saturday so I can't make it. Maybe next time!
It's a Jeep Thing ... I do understand!
I'm up for The Gulches - watch their Facebook page because they close at the drop of rain. Uwharrie has been pretty much paved through in places. I'm running a 2"bb right now and I've done just about everything, including the both sides of Daniel.
If we get a group picture, can we make it around 10:30 so I can get in it before the ball and chain pulls me away haha :/
i'll be there early anyway and there's a fence along the west side (good for morning/noonish pics) that'll i'll park everybody along as they come in.
weather looks good so far (chance of isolated t-storms = normal). and this is RAIN OR SHINE!!!!! if it does happen to be raining there's plenty of warehouse space with bay doors for everybody to stay dry. I'll be getting a bit wet if that happens because I'm coming doorless/bimini only.
