Dunn area?

I live in Dunn, near I-95 and was wondering how many Jeepers live near me on this site

Ft Bragg is maybe 30 mins. from here if you know which way to go. My trails here aren't that much yet but now that the weather is cold and the snakes are going away I can get more done. I've heard about some of the wheelin at Bragg.....I wish I could do some wheeling there

Heck I could throw a rock onto fort bragg I live so close. There's an area here in aberdeen we call the pit with a good amount of trails to wheel on. Including a mud pit that would swallow me because my tires are shot. It also has some good hills to climb and such. Maybe ill get up with y'all as soon as I get me some new tires fix this darn axel leak and replace my daggone u joints.

I lke trails with rocks hill climbs, and some water. Not too much for mud....I have played in the mud abnd replaced brakes and stuff enough over the years. I have been looking for some more like-minded people to wheel with that isn't 2 hrs drive away. There are a lot of places to wheel if with the right people

Yeah I agree with you, most of the trails here have had a LMTV or two bottom out to forum a rather deep mud or water hole. The reservation on the honeycut side of Bragg is pretty big. We've got a four day weekend come en up, I'll be heading if anyone is up for it.

Most of the stuff around here will give your rig some scatches, but you are more than welcome to bring it out some time. Shoot me a pm if you want to

My address reads "Willow Spring" but I'm just an angry mule's kick away from McGee's Crossroads.

Bought my bride a '12 JKU a few weeks back. First time Jeep owners, never been off-road.

If anyone knows of some legal spots to get this thing off the pavement, please let me know. I saw the "Trails in Raleigh NC" thread but that sucker is 63 pages long - kinda hard to dredge.

Also, due to our lack of experience and that her Wrangler is her DD, we're looking for "beginner" type trails - no 8 ft mudholes just yet...

I work in your area everyday. You are 20 mins from my place if that. There are some trails close to you, but I can't think of anything that will not put a scratch on yer newer ride. I have a small trail here at the house with a lot of potential. I just need to get some time to finish the last few acres and loop the trails together. Now if you don't mind scratches like me, lemme know I can show you some stuff that won't sink yer stuff too bad

Thanks for the response, sir - very much appreciated.

I better hold off on the "scratch inducing" routes for now... This rig has been in our driveway less than a month - hasn't even passed 1,500 miles - it's her first "new off the showroom floor" vehicle ever... I think you can guess what the response to "let's go tear it up" will be...
