Jeep Mechanics, near New Bern?

I'm in New Bern and wondering about awesome Jeep mechanics. Any suggestions? I would even be game for working with someone that wanted to teach me stuff and I could help; no one skeezy please, haha! I just don't have piles of cash to put into my Jeep right now, but it needs attention.

Check and see if theres a Jeep club on LeJeune there should be some motor-t guys and gals that would know one end of a wrench from the other. If hubby is in the Corps they used to have a hobby shop on base that was the greatest. Every tool you could imagine and a guy that ran it knew his stuff.

It's my '95 YJ. Needs lots of stuff really. I'm trying out Thurman Auto in New Bern right now, he's rebuilding my transmission. Current thoughts, here: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f8/yj-t...ild-58888.html

I know I need a catalytic convertor and new muffler, am likely to go back to National Discount Muffler for that.

Aside from that, just any basic repairs. I have old parts, rusted parts, bad speakers, etc, etc.

Why do you ask? Do you have recommendations for me?
