Like Sammy Hagar........

......I can't drive 55....or my jeep falls apart!

I have probably searched and read every thread or article on death wobble there has ever been posted. I've taken my '05 TJ (4 inch ProComp Stage II lift with 32" BFG ATs) to 4 different shops and no one can figure out the source. I won't go into all of the details but everything from the steering stabilizer, alignments (in and out of specs), tires balanced and actually ran 2 other sets of tires and wheels to check, 3 different track bars, upgraded tie rod/drag link and so on.

I am hoping my fellow jeepers can give me some suggestions as to the best shop to take my jeep and get this fixed. I'm in Greensboro but would be willing to trailer it to somewhere else if they can fix it. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!!

Keep on wheelin'!

I haven't lifted my jeep yet so I haven't gotten the death wobble. But the name of this thread may be why no one is responding. I like Sammy Hagar, so that's why I clicked on it. Try something like "Please help me with possible death wobble". (just a suggestion, hope it helps)

At my age I am not afraid to say I am now mostly a Mall Crawler, but a lot of times I have the muddiest Mall Crawler around. You can curse a Mall Crawler but at least we don't own a Trailer Queen.

I've heard a lot about Wilson Offroad in downtown Fayetteville, and Get Ugly Customs in Hoke County does a lot of Jeep work. Hopefully that helps.

Thanks for the note, Fireman. I actually found Wilson Off Road and took it down there a few weeks ago. They worked on it and I'm DW free (knock on wood). They have been great to work with and would recommend them as well. Worth the 90 minute drive to me.

Have a great night!
