I'm in Huntersville, I am new to the JEEP thing, I had a 72 Bronco and 88 BII, and numerious F150s. I have been waiting for Ford to build the new Bronco, and it dosen't look like that is gonna happen. Nothing in thier SUV lineup is a legit 4wd. My younger bro has a TJ he has had a long time. when the foor door wrangler came out I liked it.
Problem was I was trying to buy a new home, so I just kept my F150. Last fall the started talking about the new engine in the wrangler, i liked it. closed on a new home in Jan, closed on a new wrangler in Mar! I get 5 mpg better than my old F150! So far I have been very happy with my purchase.
I'm in Troutman and just got another wrangler to play with after a long time without one. Had one back about 10 yrs ago. Would love to have some people with the same jeeper interestes and could have some fun on some trails.
I've never heard of trails in Mooresville. Must be a private property affair and mud oriented?
Anyway, new to the forum - just about have my YJ done and look forward to wheeling with some jeepers soon. I've been to Uwharrie a few times (all trails), Tellico (closed now) and Gulches (cool place) all full-size wheeling (ramchargers and swb trucks).
