OBX Beaches

Hey guys, I'm from Richmond, VA. I have a 02 Wrangler Sport. Completely stock except for some 30" BFG A/T. Every year my family and a few other families rent a home in OBX for memorial weekend; usually in Duck. This year will be the first year I have my TJ to take to the beach. I was wondering where about, if any, are the beach "trails" in the OBX near/around Duck/Corolla. Not looking for anything crazy, just want to take the Jeep on the beach. Where do you guys reccomend? Thanks in advance!

man they closed so many of those to beaches to vehicles good luck. I do remember 3 years ago taking my parents suburban up a crazy sand dune somewhere, no idea if that place is still open though.

bummer. well are there any "sand roads" to home in the obx? Wouldn't mind cruising down there with the parents to show them some of those mansions on the beach.

When you head up into Duck just keep driving to the end of the road and you will hit the beach. I believe it is called Corova, maybe Corolla, not sure which. We were up there this past summer and you can drive all the way to VA on the beach. Watch for the wild horses, it's pretty cool.

Here you go: Obx beach closings?????

Cool thanks for the heads up. I will check that out. About how far are you allowed to go on there? Or can you go all the way to Va beach... not that I would...
