Off Road in Wilmington Area

Where's a legal place to off road in New Hanover, Pender or Brunswick counties? I already know about Carolina Beach and Fort Fisher. Also know about Topsail.

Want to get some mud on Big Red.

Thanks.

the one place i have been with a couple of guys is behind a neighbor hood called torchwood. its off market street. when entering the neighbor hood youll go maybe 1/4 mile and youll have a drainage ditch and then youll see a dirt road. turn down that. when you can youll want to turn left and avoid the field to the right. i might be up for some this weekend if my other plans fall through. back there is mostly dirty water on hard pack. i was able to do the larger water hole in 2wd. theres also a dirt mound that fun to play on. and above all things dont try to drive in the ditch. driving across it youll be fine but a buddy of mine sunk his grand chrokee to the bumper with a 4" lift
