in middle of Aug. i will be comming from Ohio to outter Banks for a vacation and this year driving my Jeep. was trying to find some info on where i can drive on the beach etc. from most of what i found alot of beaches don't allow driving on them when i'll be there. i dont want to go nutz down there since i do have to drive it 600-700 miles home hehe, but would like to take it on beach etc.
this will be my 1st trip w/ my yj lifted. so i haven't done any real off roading yet.
Corrolla has beach access..we went down fathers day weekend and did it for the first time with the wifes liberty. Just make sure you stay at least 50 feet from the wild horses, heard the fine can be steep. Once you get into the outterbanks head north on the main road....once ya get into corrolla the road turns to the right and ends
Just got back from Corrolla. Was extremely nice. I reccommend it over any other place at the OBX. Oregon Inlet, Caper Hatteras, and Corrolla all have beach access for vehicles. Oregon Inlet has alot of fishing. Corrolla has wild horses to see with a very wide and beautiful beach. Unfortunaley I have never rode on Caper Hatteras so I have no info there. Have Fun!!!!
