Planning a trip to uwharrie

Hey guys and gals the wife and I are heading to uwharrie for the first time and wanted to know if anyone wanted to join up. We plan on leaving Raleigh early so we can hit the trail head and still have plenty of time for fun. Figure we will test out the moderate level trails because we're not stock and want a little challenge so if you wanna go let me know

Pray for rain! We were down there this past weekend Thurs-Sat, bone dry, the dust was unbearable and the place was like a ghost town, not to mention the 100+ heat!!

Turns out we may be camping the weekend down there so we need to set a time to meet up and see who all is coming.

Dust won't be a problem this weekend for sure. There's been enough rain that I think even the big mudholes will be full.

I would call the outpost to see how much rains they got this week; both mud holes were totally dried up! Hard to believe!

Yeah the big one was dry 2 weeks ago when we were there. They have gotten a lot of rain I would think. I live only about 30 miles from there and we have been soaked. Should make for a good day of riding.

I won't be camping afterall. The wife has things to do so I will just be riding down Saturday and spending the day.
