Rocky Mount/ Wilson

Hi all! Anyone near the rocky mount, Wilson area that know of any places to go off road. I'm new to jeep, being that I got my first a month ago, and very new to off roading as well. Thanks for the help!

Ok cool, I know nothing about the jks. But from the guys I know that have em, love em. And we are planning a trip to uwharrie national forest about the end of sept. If you have never heard of it search it up, it is absolutely amazing, ever in stick form!

You will have an absolute blast at uwharrie, my wife has a commander and the last time we went we met a convoy of commanders on the trails and a VW beetle with boggers on the back!! If the obstacles get to be worse than you want, there's always a bypass route! I've got a 2000 with 31s now and in less than a month is going to 33 inch km2s I've got a good jeeping friend that lives close to the rocky/Wilson airport off of 97 and a coworker with a bright red jk that lives in bailey. Yeah we should get together

Welcome to the Forum. Not much in our area. Mostly riding in Raliegh with some really cool folks we've met through the forum. Myself and a friend ride around Nash Tech some. But thats about an hour adventure and not very challenging. Where about in Wilson are you?
