I'm in and of course, I'm going up Daniel. Where is everyone wanting to camp? In the campground or on one of the trails?

I took my jeep back when it was stock and did everything BUT Daniel. Daniel isn't that bad if you take all the bypasses, but where's the fun in that?

Changed the date to nov 4-6. I got the underground house for rental. Not sure who is all coming but if you have a air mattress you are more than welcome to stay.

I had the event on private by mistake. You should be able to see it now.

Trip

I put in for Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th, off from work. While I was at it, I went by Jeep today and had a Rough Country 2.5" lift installed.

Sweet!! I'm installing my 3 inch now. So far we have 6 people going, if you have a air mattress bring it just in case if you want to stay at the underground house. Few of us may bring our gf/wife if they can get off work. I'm bring a air mattress as a extra as well.

Right now there's 7 of us going. If you are ok sleeping on air mattress you are more than welcome to stay as I know the beds, couches and recliner are spoken for. Right now its 52 a head.

Lexington...

I think the place is called the Lexington Mud Pit. And it's $5 to wheel all day. They have some bigger mud bogging events during the year. I found a few videos on Youtube.

I'm planning on taking a day trip to Uharrie this Saturday, 5 Nov. What is the process to go about riding the trails? Do you just show up and drive or is there a permit or fee to pay, etc? Any info would be appreciated.

Go to the Outpost and pay $5, put your trail pass on your Jeep and have fun.

Ive never been to uwharrie either and would love to go sometime. Where does the trailhead start? Its a big forest, so where do you enter? How does the camping work... Can i just go wheeling into the night and then pull over somewhere on the trail to set up camp or do i have to camp in designated areas? If thats the case Are campers allowed?
