Western NC Wheelin' - Cashiers, Cullowhee, Highlands, Sylva, Franklin, Glenville

Looking to do some wheeling in Western NC ASAP!!! I am in S. Jackson County and am willing to travel for some good trail action. Mud, Gravel, Forest, Rocks, Who cares, lets just go! Macon County, Jackson County, Transylvania County? Wherever. Been to the Caney Fork trails, Goldmine trails, and lots of dirt roads. Would like to try some new spots but those are great too. Get this thread active and we can get a good ol' western NC Jeep party rolling.

5/13-15/11 Spring Open Invite at The Flats - NC4x4 Forum

There arn't many LEAGAL places in WNC other than Hurrican Creek 7mi from the TN boarder on i40 and the Flats (see link above)

I highly recommend you go to the flats to meet folks, test your rig, and test you skills. Do you have lockers?

I am from Macon County and I too am looking for places to take the Jeep to 'explore'. I am also looking for other jeepers to meet up with and swap ideas with. Does Western NC have a Jeep Club?

Hey Macon, Jackson, Swain, Haywood County Jeepers. I know there are not many places to off road around here. I still think we need to get a local Jeep Club started up. Get together and show off our Jeeps, our MOD's go for some rides (even if it is on road). Anyone else out there want to meet up?

I'm in Asheville nc. I'm down for something new. There are Gultches and a few other places near in the upstate sc to go. A couple of my buddies and I are planning a trip to coal creek in September. For two nights of camping and wheeling.

I've been looking for a WNC jeep club to join as I am a 1st time jeep owner and want to get out there. I also don't know much about fixing jeeps and am interested in a jeep club to help me and maybe teach me some things. Did y'all start one?

We realized that WNC doesn't have a jeep club, so we have decided to make one below is the Facebook link. We hope to use this group to gather and meet each other, go on rides (trails and roads), help each other out and admire each other's jeeps. Please like our page and help us get this page up and going! https://www.facebook.com/AshevilleJeepClub
