Thursday night behind Flamming Amys Bowl (corner of College Rd and Shipyard, beside Firestone Tires) from 830 til whenever we leave We're trying to be a "real" club, have some big meet ups on the North End, and plan some trips. Come out and meet some cool people!
Well, the Jeep sits level with 2 inch BB spacers in the rear, so I'd say about 2 1/4 inches, with a winch on the front bumper. Seems to be a softer ride than with BB spacers in the front (in a good way), I'm pleased, pretty good mod for 25 bux.
I put some pics up in the "What I did to my TJ Today" thread.
Might still be worth your while, since you'd likely get about the same lift height, but better flex than with the spacer lift. If necessary, you could always add a little .75 inch spacer to level things out, they're not expensive on E-Bay or whatever.
Hey guys...I've got a question. I'm looking at google maps and looking at the area, and was wondering who has been down the dirt road behind target? I've heard about it and so I decided to look it up and I see it follows powerlines. Aren't most of those roads "do not trespass"? If not maybe thats something we can hit up next weekend?
The trails behind target are flat in the woods and not much room to ride. The main strip fills up with water after a LOT of rain. So it's prob dry now and it's only good enough for a quick run thru if u are in the area.
So anyone still read this or is it ust dead cause of winter? wanted to see who was of for wheelin this spring seeing how ill be moving this summer. Yeah military life. I'm moving up to NJ so I get to find new trails all over again. I'll keep yall posted on when I'm looking to go have some fun.
I'm down, just say when, hope its warm though. Hate cleaning jeep when it's cold out !
And it's a little to big for the bathtub ! Lol
Hope to hit uwharrie sometime this spring, want to install winch first though.
Even if it's just a cheap one for now,
Yeah I hear that.that one place by the water district is a no go. I've seen a bush hog being to trailed by a water district vehicle doing work back there. But I just put a 2 inch lift I'm Itching to go
X2 that !
There is the spot in Hempstead been a couple times. It's deep as hell getting in, but fun as hell also.
Haven't seen it all. Some of it is to deep to go alone.
Don't think it's legal but people go all the time. Big spot to kill a few hours. I have a 2 inch lift and 33's. the last time I went the water was on the hood. Lol but I made it. Lol. Somehow.
Hooked. Did you go with the teraflex 2 inch bb. Lift . How do you like it if you did ?
Just asking cause I did their 2 and a half bob. And I love it turn out great on mine.
I just got a bb lift on ebay made by supreme suspension. The spacers are made from a material called Delrin it supposed to be stronger than polyurethane. I also have body armor side rails and smittybuilt bumper on the way.
Yea, I know no end to the parts list. Lol
The only limitation is the money, I am just hoping a winch by spring.
And once again the big brown truck comes. Lmao
