Ummmm I'm new to this.... I don't know where peters creek is but y'all seem like its a easy kinda trial? Directions please? I like in Roanoke va
Take 81 north to Ednburg VA. After you take the exit there is a gas station about .25 miles on the right. Stop get a permit and map. Not sure if it's still open though. Heard it closes sometime in January.
Just got this from Rausch Creek about there 101 class.
We certainly do have room in the Jan 12th 101 class!
Not sure if you have any questions about the class so I will give you the basics.
The goal of this class is to show you what you as the driver and your vehicle can truly do off road without damaging anything. You will drive away at the end of the day with a strong off road driving foundation.
The class starts at 9:30am and the day wraps up around 3:30pm. There will be a short lunch break around noon so you may want to pack a lunch with you.
The fee for the class is $150.00 plus park fees which are $50.00 for non Rausch Creek members and $35.00 for members.
If you would like to attend please register by leaving a $50.00 deposit by visiting Rausch Creek Adventures , clicking on the "Webstore" tab, then select "Deposit for Ride" then follow the prompts from there.
The class starts at 9:30am but please arrive at 8:30am for check-in.
Glenn couldn't come. Too bad you guys didn't make it. It was awe inspiring. Still trying to figure out where the big clumps mud came from on my bumper. lol Hope you guys can make it the next trip. I think Glenn was talking about going up some time in Feb.
Probably won't make it by today. Gone all day yesterday, means clean all day today.
Let me guess, by "cleaning" you mean your Jeep haha jk!
Nah, clean the house, etc. That was kind of the disappointing part. I wanted to come home covered in mud (a new color), but the mud holes (which were many and deep) were fill with big chunks of ice, so it was suggested we didn't play to rough in them.
So horrible day today! Attempted to drill out the wheel stud (due to it being stripped) ended up using my neighbors bad ass torch and some muscle to pull the rim off. Good thing is the rims not destroyed, bad news is to replace the hub assembly I need a special socket that no one carries and the hub assembly is $125.99. So the Jeep is now in the garage with no front passenger tire installed and on Jack stands. Calling the dealer tomorrow to hopefully get it covered under my warrenty.
Here is a pic of my neighbor torching my wheel stud.
