Just found this a couple days ago on Facebook.

I've heard on this forum that it is not legal and a dumping ground for stolen cars.

I think the entrances are near the intersection of Cardinal and Bonita Fitzgerald.

STAY OUT OF CARDINAL SWAMPS! Good way to get your rig impounded or worse get it buried back there. Buddy of mine got stuck. Only one tow truck company would come and get him out. Cost over a grand and he got charged with trespassing! Really bad place to go. Cops watch it all the time and so does the land owner.

^^^ this. Rigs used to get stripped and torched by vandals out there all the time as well.

There is no "used to" about it... I've heard of two rigs in the past 4 months that got lit up back there....
