Chaos Off Road Park

All,

Just wanted to make everyone aware of a new off road park being put in near Capon Bridge, WV. It's about 30 minutes northwest of the Cove Campground if you wheel at the Big Dogs events.

It's still a work in progress but it should be pretty nice once it gets done. The plan is to only open it for special wheeling events.

There's a trail building/play scheduled for next weekend.

Glad to see you involved Kawa. Any plans to go out there soon? I'm heading out on 2/8 to help with trail clearing, etc. Taking their welding class tomorrow, so I will talk to them more about it for anyone who wants to get involved. Can't wait to see more of the terrain they have out there. The pics I've seen on Facebook look awesome!.

I was out there all last Saturday mapping and clearing. I hope to be out there for next Saturday's session. The park is not on the size of the Cove or Rausch but we pretty much have a clean slate to build whatever we want. OCC is already working on some trails for the park. Some people and I cleared out a rock garden in the back part of the park.

The park is going to be large truck friendly so if you have people who drive around in Raptors they are welcome.

Still haven't made it to Rausch of The Cove, but I have a buddy in a full-size 4x4 pickup that I'm hoping I can get to go out there camping and wheeling with me this summer. Should be more fun than taking him to Flagpole from the sounds of it. Have I seen you on the Nova or DMVjeepers FB pages then? I know a few people in OCC too, but not as many.
