Angry Damn New York.......

Was coming out of Krogers today on Rt 221 in Forest, and there was this guy looking at my Jeep, so we got to talking Could tell he did not like my responses He said he was visiting here from New York

Finally he said, "What the Hell has gotten into you Rednecks, big trucks and frigging hopped-up Jeeps"? Well, I unloaded on him and left

Two things came to mind on the way home: (1) Shoe Creek and (2) the song below (ignore the 15-second commercial, please)

I got a ticket for not wearing my seatbelt in gridlock traffic. My crappy VW TDi was overheating and I had just gotten out to check my engine cuz we were stopped and I got back in and here comes NY's finest not 20 seconds after I got into my car and asked me why I didn't have my seatbelt on. I tried to explain, she would have none of it. She directed me to pull over onto a sidewalk which took 5 mins to do because the traffic was so congested and then left me there for 20 mins while she wrote me this idiotic ticket. Meanwhile I had pedestrians calling me all sorts of obscenities banging my car with their fists. She came back and I told her to take her worthless ticket and shove it. I got out and tossed it into the garbage next to my car. They sent notices for months. I wanted and hoped they'd waste the maximum amount of money trying to collect on a 75.00 ticket. I'm confident they spent more than 75.00 trying to collect the fine. Oh no, I lost my driving privileges in NY. Oh no, ask me if I care. Everything is so cutthroat and frantic there. What a pointless way to live.

in a way i sort of think thats funny. only cuz im from NY, but keep in mind not everyone is like that.

now if you would of had a snowmobile that would be a hole different story. and just think if you so further south like GA its nothing but mud trucks. every area has there own tastes in what they like.

Was reading through this and have to comment. I'm originally from Farmville VA. I love the northerners not. They come down talk trash about the south and when college starts 90% of the students are from????????? You guessed it. Up north. Moved and got away from that to only come to where I am today. The northerners aren't crap compared to the Californians. These jokers are like a plague claiming to move here for a better life only to try and change everything to what they moved from.. I'm sort of like Willee51 except I tell them from the get go. off
