Date possibilities for Peters Mill Run/ Taskers Gap

Hey guys (and gals) it really sucks that the last Peters Mill trip was canceled due to the trail still being closed. The trail is supposed to open on Monday April 8th so we need to find a good Saturday to go. Any suggestions for a date? I am not available April 20th, so that leaves us with April 13 or 27 or sometime in May. What say you?

yes "we" like mud and rain and stuff, but my wife doesn't. She is one of those sunny day jeepers

As long as it is nice outside we can do it.

It is located just outside of Edinburg, VA off I-81. The trail should be open tomorrow (Monday April 8th) if so there should be a group of us hitting it on Saturday 4/13, you are welcome to join us. Taskers gap is a fun but short trail that if you go up and back and take your time it may take as much as an hour. Peters mill connects edinburg with woodstock (about 4 miiles I think). It is pretty easy (stock friendly) and is tons of fun. There are several puddles to splash through. There are no real mud holes to get stuck in. I usually stop a few times to let my kids get out and stretch/play/pee and it takes me about 1.5-1.75 hours to go from the trail head in edinburg to the end at woodstock tower. Permits are $5 per day, $12 3 day permit, and $30 per year. The permits are PER DRIVER, so if you are switching drivers each person needs to buy a permit.
Let me know if you are interested in joining us.

Barring any disasters the date will be Saturday April 13th. Meet in Edinburg at Shell station just off I-81 at 10am. Gas up and purchase permits here. Stock friendly and open to any 4x4 (not just wranglers). Let me know if you plan to attend so I can get a head count. Thanks
