Design and fabrication help needed

- Mod- Not sure if this is the correct thread to post this in. Please move it if you need to. Thanks. -

I am looking to design and fabricate a custom locking bracket for my 2006 Rubicon to mount a HAM, CB, Scanner, and EMS Radio, as well as switches. I am also looking to design and fabricate a locking box for the "trunk" area to mount the actual radios and 2 gun safes.

I am new to this and have no idea how to fabricate. Any suggestions are welcome!

Is anyone in the Richmond, Va area able to help me?

Hey rubi
Not sure if you found some to fab your bracket/shelf thing

My suggestion is to reach out to a club to see who their members make stuff

You may want to check out Quadratech and 4wd jeep essentials. Both give out free catalogs

Hope this helps

Hey! Thanks for responding. I haven't found anyone to help. I've looked at Quadratec and 4wd and they don't have anything that will work for what i'm trying to do. I'll check out a few clubs. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey rubi

Gotcha. You could check on CL for custom welding services, I've seen folks barter their welding skills for stuff.
Personally I plan on taking a few mig welding classes at the local comm college to do something similar
Lolz

Hope this helps

They're in my head right now, but I can put them on paper.

If you can imagine it, I can build it out of metal!

If I can send you what I'm looking for could you give me an idea of what you would charge to do it?
