We had our very first trail ride and had 7 people come out and 4 jeeps! We went to Flag Pole Trail in George Washington Forest in Harrisonvile, Virginia near James Madison University.

Awesome! Would you be able to pass directions on to the trail head, or coordinates? We've done shoe creek a few times- Had a blast there. Since then we've added a few new vehicles and they are itching to go on a few trails.

Yeah let me get with our club president and I'll pass the directions and coordinates on to you. Are you in a jeep club in northern Virginia as well?

That would be awesome, thank you! Our club is based out of Virginia Beach which unfortunately means we either have to drive the 2.5 hours down to Corolla Beach NC or the 3.5+ hours to GWNF when we want to do some wheelin'. I've been trying to gather info on more of the trails out in GWNF but there's so much info from everywhere it makes my head spin!

Is your group pretty big? Maybe we can coordinate a trail ride in the future?

Enjoyable site, not a firefighter but have housed one in our basement for several years before he got caught and hitched. Appreciate your dedication to keeping us from just completly setting ourselves on fire and such. Northern Virginia Jeep here in the Manassas area make the runs to GWNF, maybe to hook up in the future. We have a Jeep & Shine in the spring so clean yourself up, and show up.

I'm still waiting on the coordinates, with the holidays coming up the president has been pretty busy and hasn't emailed me back yet. But we are fairly new only a few months old but we have about 20 members and are growing. We get a lot of hits and interest on Facebook and the website. And please contact us on the website to set up a trail ride that would be great! We're always looking for more people to go off roading with. And here's another one of our email accounts in case it isn't on the website, fireandsmokejc@gmail.com
