I'm thinking of going the 27th anyway, since I have the kids that weekend.

Reaper,

I am good for any weekend besides the 3rd. I will be in Chicago/ Toledo for my girlfriends graduation. Any other weekend would be good for me.

To everyone else,

I have not had my jeep long enough to do a drive longer than 10 minutes with the doors off. What is your experience driving doorless for a long period of time?

You've had yours off longer than me. Depends on the weather I guess. Not sure what driving to flag pole with no doors would be like. Probably eat a lot of branches.

Mud isnt as much fun with the doors off (I dont enjoy cleaning out the mud inside of my jeep). Cruising and dry trails are great without doors. Technical trails get a little nerve racking when you feel like you are hanging from your seatbelt. If you are going to be driving high speeds for a period of time I would recommend wearing ear plugs. Other than that it is a great feeling to cruise all exposed like that!

Every chance I get, the top/doors are off. They are off right now!

It is great.... Just do it and don't fret.

Hey! New to the forum, but was wondering if yall have decided what day to hit flagpole or switzer? I hate going up there alone. I went yesterday though cause it was to nice outside to pass up. My vote is for the 27th, and im up for camping.

Anyone else up for camping?

I might be down for some camping. Depends who comes with me. If just me, I will bring my hammock, if my brothers come it will be home that night.

Hi!
Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'd like to tag along with you guys. It would be nice to find some places to wheel and meet some new people.

I'll ping the wife and kid and see if they're in too. Not sure about the camping part yet.

Get up on Long Run. You can do Second Mountain, Dictum Ridge, and Feedstone Mountain and exit out on German River.

Mark me down as going. Finally got around to installing some skid plates and modifying my bumper, so the new set up needs to see some mud!

Me too. Big dogs is right out in Winchester. Much closer than flagpole, would like to see it. Maybe just go Sunday, but your paying $100 for both days. A place that claim 3 to 7 rollovers a day on their advance course sounds interesting.

Due to low interest in this trip. I might do some exploring on long run and dictum ridge. Just don't want to lead a big group down a trail I don't know.

I am down for doing some exploring instead of just running Flagpole again.

If it is a small group doing exploring, I am down. If it is 20 just running Flagpole, I will go to Big Dogs.

Let me know.

Thanks.
