Hey guys!! I just wanted to add my name to the list for tomorrow. Since there was no snow I decided it would be more fun to join you guys tomorrow. I am also leading a group of NOVAjeepers on Monday for those who can't make it tomorrow.

I am new to the area, but have been wheeling a while so I am glad to help out anyone who is out for their first time. I am trying to meet you guys in Haymarket, but it depends on my gf's schedule tomorrow.

I will have winch and recovery gear, but please make sure you have recovery points on your vehicle. I seriously doubt that we will need anything of the sort, but just in case.

See y'all in the morning!!

Travis

All, Trina, myself, and our daughters had an outstanding time today. Thanks for setting this up Reaper. We are looking forward to doing it again.

This is a panorama my wife took at Meadow Knob.

I am so glad there was no snow up there!!!!!

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but this right here is a big no-no... the area where that jeep is parked is definitely off limits, and the rangers have no problem handing out hefty tickets... They hide up in the woods right above there waiting for people to climb that hill....

Tried something new with the GoPro. this looks promising if I can figure out how to make the batteries last for more than 8 minutes (S'pose to b 1.5 hours). Need to figure out what was rattling. Unfortunately, the camera was giving me fits, so I didn't get more pics during the rock climbs.

Hey guys; how was this as compared to Peter's Mill? Was more difficult? If so, in what way?

I liked it. A few rocks to climb and a narrow path. The trail has some pretty steep drop offs. Still a green trail, but the vistas are great.

Thanks for the info. This was the first time out there for everybody on this trip so it's good to know little details like that for future reference

It was a lot of fun, but just for the record I advised everyone that that hill was off limits. In my mind we are all adults and can make our own decisions with the information provided.

Great trip Reaper2332!

Hey I found a new use for my jeep. Go out get lots of mud on it like yesterday and then I get to play with my pressure washer. Jeep is clean as new. You should try it!

Looking forward to checking out the pics when we get home. It got a little chilly up there last night. We found quite a few other trails today. We are still driving around.

Photos From Saturdays Flagpole run

Hey everyone,
Here is the link for the photos from Saturday. I have a lot of video footage but haven't been able to sit down and create an all in one video. I had a great time and I hope everyone that came along enjoyed it as well. I also apologize if the trip took longer than expected, I just really enjoy taking pictures and video of our Jeeps and the one Trailblazer be used for what they are built for!

Great outing. We'll have to make a weekend of it. My son and I spent 13 hours exploring on Sunday. There are quite a few side roads plus stuff on the other side of Hwy 33. We did Second Mountain/Rocky Ridge in the dark.

Hey Jason, do you happen to have a form of directions to get to the start point where we started? Or a name for the part we started, or was it ALL the flagpole trail?

I've got tracklogs and waypoints for everything if you want them.
