Not to familiar with the layout of the counties in VA but are you anywhere near Roanoke, VA? Thats where I live and we have several trails at most an hour away and the closest is about ten minutes up the interstate from my house. It'd be nice to find a trail sorta midway between and I'll bring my Jeep buddies and we can make a wheelin trip out of it.

I am very familiar with Roanoke!...I live about an hour-hour 15 away from there and I would love to do that! I figured Roanoke would be the closest place that offers trails

You'll have to come up to Roanoke for a trail ride sometime this summer. We have a pretty decent trail not even twenty minutes from downtown. You heard of Broad Run? And we're also heading up to Shoe Creek here on Memorial Day weekend too.

I definitely will! I'll see if I can get one of my close buddies to come with me who has a 95 stock yj..I don't think he's ever put the thing in 4wd haha. Ive heard the name broad run but not familiar with it and memorial day is no good for me ive made plans with my family to go sight seeing in DC.

By the Way Ive never been off roading before. My family owns a farm and believe me Ive torn up some fields and handled some washed out roads but never anything thats required technique so I hope you guys can show me the ropes!! I'm heavily considering moving to Blacksburg next January so we'll be a lot closer and wheelin trips would be a lot more convenient!

All the guys I wheel with are full of knowledge. I have only gotten into wheeling because of the jeep. Owned a big green mall crawling F-150 before that. And a couple of the guys I wheel with live and go to school in Blacksburg too. Let me know a weekend that would be good for y'all and we'll swap digits to set something up.
