KMA park clean tomorrow 12-3-11

Anyone in the area feel free to show up and help KMA Jeep Klub clean the beach Garden park. It's something we do to help promote comunity acceptance for off road vehicles.

Here's a link to a map of where it's located: Beach Garden Park

The Meet and Greet/Park Clean is tomorrow morning at 10 AM for anyone interested.

Thanks!

~Necro~

We get together all the time, but it would be kinda far from Franklin to Va Beach.

I'm In Norfolk, Dipstick is in Franklin, And I'm with him that I've never heard of Hardy,

Anywho... KMA Jeep Klub is based out of Va Beach, and we have members from Elizabeth City, Suffolk, Hampton, NewPort News, Norfolk, Va Beach, Chesapeake, and many other city's in south eastern Va. We wheel in Crozet Va, Harlan Ky, Tinsley Va, Big Dogs, Rauch Creek, Uwharrie, GNF, Pungo Va, and various other areas. The point being... we actually go wheeling. We also do a meet and greet just about every Saturday morning at 10 AM, and on the first Saturday of the month we do a park clean in Va Beach as a way to give back to the comunity. We also do a beach clean in Corova NC once a year as well.

Very true! We also welcome any Jeep at all, it doesn't have to be a Wrangler.

Lol.... 264 to Norfolk Is freaking ridiculous and now they want to put tolls in... Maybe they can fix the roads with that money!!! Doubt it though!

I remember when it was 44 when I first got here there were tolls on both tunnels to Portsmouth there was a tool plaza on 264 near Mt Trashmore in Va beach and toll booths at every on and off ramp, 264, and both tunnels used to be a model for the rest of the world in maintenance, now they are just about a 4X4 park, the reason the tolls were taken off is that both tunnels and 44 was paid for with tools ad they had been paid off for a few years and the people complained

X2 I diffently remember all the tolls also... Well the only good thing was they were a lot cheaper then from what they will want now.

I don't think they need tolls, I work for the city of Virginia Beach and if the other city's and the Sate of Virginia are anything like the city I work in all they need to do is stop wasting money
Example in the city we have walkways that go nowhere around a lake that nobody visits, in et schools we have these boards where the old chalk boards used to be, only 8k each, one in every single class room wanna know how many schools we have? I know that answer I fix stuff at them with no money.

Well here's an update before ya get back the trail that we made on London Bridge Road has been closed by the city with those darn delineate signs and the one on Dam Neck road , the land owner put a bunch of 4X4's in the ground to we can't go in there anymore, I think KMA offroad club has a place in Pungo they are building, not sure if its ready or not, the pictures I see my Jeep may make it in but not out

You mean the ones up by tarmac? I thought that was govt property? if It is I can't go on them simply because of how they were putting people out in 99 for medical reason

Just moved back to Virginia Beach this time around we have a Jeep. I'm interested in beginner/intermediate trails which are within a few hours from here.

'12 JK Rubicon, 2" Spring lift, bumpers with D rings, and a winch. Stock rims and BFG muds.

I'd be happy to pay to join a club who is interested in preserving the land/trails. I am NOT interested in wheeling in any illegal areas...
